Young Alumnus Award Winner Reaches for the Stars

This year’s Young Alumnus Award winner Richard Addante Ph.D. ’11 – only seven years out from graduation – is already the only psychologist to participate in a NASA simulation mission to Mars. During the mission, his team helped develop NASA’s understanding of challenges that may arise for humans confined together in a long mission.

This year’s UC Davis Alumni Awards honor three leaders in higher education, one of the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare Information Technology, a neuroscientist who worked with NASA, a health professional using film to convey vital information and a dynamic duo of Aggie advocates.
