Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre '99
Bio

Cathy earned her B.A. in Communications and a Minor in English in 1999. She is a CAAA life member. During her time at UC Davis, she held multiple campus jobs including stints in the Coffee House, and as Unitrans Bus Conductor. Her time as a conductor is still one of her favorite jobs she has ever held! Cathy was also an advisor for entering freshman and transfer students. She is now the President & CEO for the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, one of the largest and most influential Latino organizations in the region. Cathy was one of eleven alumni featured in the 2017 UC Davis Spring Edition as making an impact across the causeway. She is on the Board of Directors for Cristo Rey High School. As a the first in her family to go to college, she is passionate about mentoring and rarely turns down an opportunity to meet and speak with students. Cathy and her husband Sid love living in East Sacramento with their three dogs, but still travel home to St. Helena, Napa Valley as often as possible.
