Aggie Advocates

UC Davis Government and Community Relations is looking for volunteers. Whether you are an alum or student, staff or faculty member, UC Davis needs your support and involvement.

It's a way to stay involved with the UC Davis campus that doesn't involve an extensive time commitment. Throughout the year when public-policy issues arise that would significantly affect the campus (such as a bond issue or a re-write of the Master Plan for Higher Education) advocates may be asked to write a letter, send and e-mail or place a phone call to their elected representatives.

The marquee event for Aggie Advocates is the annual UC Day in Sacramento. This year's event was held on March 10, 2009.  It is not only a day for graduates and friends of the ten campuses of the UC system to reconnect, but a day to renew old friendships and forge new ones. At the same time, the UC family comes together to share the story of UC's contributions to California with our state's elected officials.
