Remember what a great college experience you had at UC Davis? Have you benefited from your UC education? Well, another generation of students needs to hear that UC Davis is a great place to learn and experience college life, and we need your help!

Our geographic area is one in which there are very few alumni serving as UC Davis Alumni Ambassadors on the scholarship committee or at student recruitment programs which are sponsored by the Cal Aggie Alumni Association and Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach Services.

If you are interested in volunteering, there are several programs throughout the school year that you could help with, such as:

Serving on a CAAA Alumni Scholarship committee in your region. Screen, interview, and recommend local students for scholarships. Commitment: 4-12 hours during March-May.

Staffing a UC Davis information table at a local College Night (high school) or Transfer Day (community college) events in your community. Training and publications will be provided by campus staff. Commitment: 3-4 hours per event

Visiting the local high school(s) or community college to meet the head counselor and drop off a packet of UC Davis information. Commitment: A few hours during the school year.

Hosting an "Aggie Welcome" reception for recently admitted students at your home or place of business. Campus staff will send out invitations and make a formal presentation. Commitment: One morning, afternoon, or evening in spring or late summer.
