Aggie Welcome
A time-honored Aggie tradition held each summer inviting incoming students and their families to network with local alumni, current students and their parents, to learn about the UC Davis experience. These events are hosted by UC Davis alums locally and internationally. As well, the Cal Aggie Alumni Association (CAAA) and SAA host a similar event together on campus in August or September.

Buddy Program
Get connected with an SAA Board Director who shares  your major and can offer mentorship and guidance as you decide your next steps at UC Davis.  Your buddy will be an automatic extended link to an active SAA member to meet up with for Member Madness , study breaks, coffee runs, and other adventures.

Email SAA President, Sarah Ng, at to learn more and join.

Interview with an Aggie
Not sure what to say at an interview? Can't figure out what to wear? Nervous about showing anyone your résumé
? Participate in a mock interview with an alum of your current major and career interest and receive immediate feedback on your résumé, attire and interview skills. Mingle with alumni afterward and practice networking over refreshments.

Leadership Program
Are you looking for a leadership position at UC Davis? SAA is looking for people who possess leadership qualities to be part of their Leadership Program. The program is designed to familiarize students with the duties and responsibilities of board positions, with the objective of identifying new directors for the board.

Want to learn more about what SAA is and how you can get involved? Join current SAA members at Member Madness, an event geared for those students that aren’t yet SAA members. Connect with current members and learn more about the programing and events that are the foundation of SAA. This on-going event is held on select dates each quarter at locations around campus and in downtown Davis. Current SAA members that wear their SAA shirt at Member Madness events are eligible to enter a drawing at each event.

Please check our events page for upcoming dates.

Want to be part of one of UC Davis' oldest traditions? In 1912, pajama-clad students first sneaked out of their dorms to greet returning alumni at the Amtrak Station the night before Homecoming. SAA continues one of UC Davis’ oldest traditions each year, hosting current students, alumni and Davis community members at Pajamarino.

Take an Aggie to Work
Do you ever wish you could test out your future career before you graduate?  Maybe dabble in a different career field just to see if it fits? Take an Aggie to Work is an incredible networking opportunity that gives you the chance to job shadow a UC Davis alum for the day. The goal of this program is to connect SAA members with alumni who work in a variety of career fields, enabling students to get a feel for real world work environments. Participants will pair with an alum in their field of interest and allowed to make arrangements that fit into their own schedule.
