The Walter A. Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center was opened on April 10, 1992. Located at the south end of campus, the Alumni & Visitors Center is generally regarded as part of the front door to campus, along with the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, the Robert Mondavi Institute, and the new Hotel and Conference Center.
The Alumni and Visitors Center is a multi-purpose facility. It encompasses over 21,000 square feet; 5,500 square feet of which is available for rental. In addition to being the home of the Cal Aggie Alumni Association, the building houses three other campus departments: Visitors Services, Career Recruiting, and International Ag Visitors. As part of the front door to campus, all tours begin at the Alumni and Visitors Center.
The Alumni and Visitors Center is a beautiful and versatile space, accommodating many types of events. From meetings and conferences to banquets and weddings, the rooms are comfortable and can be specifically configured to meet your needs.
Our tree-lined patio is ideal for a luncheon or reception. Visitors and guests will also enjoy our two art galleries. Each of our conference rooms is equipped with wireless internet, an active phone port, and a white board. Other amenities include: a sound system with wireless microphones, electronically retractable screens, assisted listening devices, and convenient catering areas. Usage of our extensive stock of tables and chairs is also included in your rental.

A facility staff member is always available on-site during events. The facility office is located in room 110, inside the glass double doors to the left of the main lobby.
