Campus Showcase and Parent & Family Weekend
October 26 - 28, 2012
Whether you're an alum interested in rediscovering UC Davis or a parent who'd like an interactive glimpse of your student's college experience, Campus Showcase and Parent & Family Weekend is a fun and exciting way to reconnect with campus.
Friday, October 26
Campus Showcase (Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center) – Enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of campus and lectures on topics including bone regeneration in dogs, what to expect from voters in the upcoming election, preventing malnutrition in developing countries, UC Davis’ distinction as “America’s Coolest School,” and fetal/neonatal surgery.

Vintage Aggies Wine Tasting (Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center) – Immediately following Campus Showcase, stay and enjoy delicious wines created by alumni winemakers from the UC Davis Alumni Wine program. Guests can stroll through the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center’s newest art installation, and will also have the opportunity to visit with Chancellor Linda Katehi at this event. Featured wineries include Amador Cellars, Berryessa Gap, Kitson Wines, Mikami Vineyards and Wente Vineyards.
Saturday, October 27
Our Saturday program includes something for everyone, from Zumba classes to campus tours and informative talks on coaching your student through college and beyond. Join other parents and families for the annual tailgate and football game or choose from several other options on Saturday afternoon.
City Tour of Winters - Interested in exploring the quaint town of Winters after the game? Enjoy the lovely shops, restaurants and ambiance that has made Winters a gem of Yolo County. Special restaurant and store discounts will be available to all guests this evening. See a list of participating businesses here.
Sunday, October 28
UC Davis Brunch (Freeborn Hall) – End your Parent and Family Weekend by enjoying brunch with UC Davis campus leadership, including special performances by UC Davis student groups.
*Football Game Tickets:
Please note, registering for Campus Showcase or Parent and Family Weekend does not include tickets to the football game on Saturday. Contact UC Davis Athletics at 530-752-AGS1 or tickets.ucdavis.edu to secure your game tickets. Section 103 has been designated for parent seating.

All prices listed are per person. If your UC Davis student will be attending any of these events, you will need to register them.
Should you want to cancel your registration, kindly do so by October 19, 2012 at 5 p.m. by emailing Becky Heard at bjheard@ucdavis.edu. Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded.
