Lair of the Golden Bear



Join a timeless tradition and take advantage of discounted stays for CAAA members at Cal’s extraordinary Sierra Family Camp – Lair of the Golden Bear.

For more than sixty summers, the Lair of the Golden Bear in Pinecrest has provided the perfect blend of mountain recreation and relaxation for generations of Cal families and friends of the university. This year, we have openings in a few premium sessions and are excited to invite members of CAAA to be a part of this memorable, all inclusive experience and without being a Cal Alumni Association (CAA) member.

June 16-23

At the Lair, we are famous for offering multitudes of daily program options for everyone in your family in our gorgeous mountain playground. We also cook your food, we do your dishes, and we take care of your kids. It’s a good old fashioned vacation within the vacation for those who love outdoor activity and the beauty of the Sierras.

*At least one camper must be a current CAAA member to have access to this opportunity.
